Some people spend Valentine's day in the arms of their lovers'. Although I would not mind that, I got the next best thing--spending the evening of Valentine's day in the arms of Sorbetteria di Castiglione.
I was advised by others to order flavors on a certain board so I ordered Emma and Guglielmo.
- Emma: Ricotta, egg with fig caramel and honey (the yellow part below)
- Guglielmo: espresso, fresh mascarpone, chocolate chip (the one of the left)
Not that my first experience at Sorbetteria was bad but this one was outstanding. Extraordinary. Emma was great as others have told me. Guglielmo was to DIE FOR. It just had so much complexity and the mascarpone flavor came through so well.
When I go back, I'm definitely going to get Guglielmo again!!
